DAY 01: JAYAPURA ARRIVAL (D)
Arrival at Sentani airport of Jayapura, met by our guide then transfer to hotel, after lunch visiting the local market in Sentani to see the people selling their garden products and drive around the Sentani town, afternoon back to hotel dinner at Mickey restaurant in the town and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 02: JAYAPURA – WAMENA (B,L,D)
After breakfast in the early morning, drive to Sentani airport for leaving to Wamena by Trigana flight in 35 minutes. On arrived in Wamena airport short transfer to Baliem Pilamo hotel for check in, then proceed our tour to visit Lani traditional villagfe in Napua and stop at Sinatma traditional market . Lunch will served at Mas Budi restaurant. After lunch continue our tour to visit another Dani traditional market around 1 hour then drive to Suroba village for short walk until Aikima village about 1 hour with pass traditional hanging bridge on the way and it is Dani traditional house. Late afternoon drive back to Baliem Pilamo Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 03: WAMENA – KOSAREK – SERKASI (B,L,D)
After breakfast, ready to fly with Missionary charter flight to Kosarek in the morning. Kosarek is home of Yali – Mek people up in the southeast of Wamena. The flight take about 30 minutes, 3 minutes before your landing you can see local people around the landing strip with curious eyes. Kosarek area was opened by Missionary in 1970’s but the people still keep the traditional alive. They practiced cannibalism all at once great farmers and live in the remote area which is difficult to get contact with others places. We have time to organize porters until get ready leaving for Serkasi to stay over night. After passed Walsaldek village and Tenkomne river and up to Wiring hill about 2 hours.
Lunch box have served, dinner and overnight at Local house.
DAY 04: SERKASI – PIMOHON – TELAMBELA (B,L,D)
Going down to Tipson waterfall it is 60 m and going up to Isril and Jenggu mountains about 3 hours. Then going down again to cross traditional hanging bridge on Lilom river for lunch. After lunch going up to Pimohon village on the hill and another 2 hours you will arrive in Telambela for dinner and overnight stay at Bible Teacher’s house.
DAY 05: TELAMBELA (B,L,D)
Today is the highlight of your journey and relaxing day, your guide arranges Pig feast and dance. All the Yally people who participate during ceremony no one of them with western cloths and you can join with them for dance too. Lunch we will served local food with grill pig. At noon you can explore the village nearby.
DAY 06: TELAMBELA – MEMBAHAM (B,L,D)
After breakfast, going down to Tumolo’s river and up to Punum village to view surrounding scenery. And down again to Walom small waterfall to soak your aching bones in not polluted water. The scenery on the entire trekking is amazing you also can hear or sometimes watch the Birds of Paradise or Cockatoos on the way and have a great adventurous feeling. Lunch box have served, dinner and overnight at Local house.
DAY 07: MEMBAHAM – HELARIKI (B,L,D)
Leaving Membaham after breakfast, today is longest trek up and down thru jungle and cross Puldam river then going up to Osonggobak mountain in 1 hour, then going down again to cross traditional hanging bridge on the Obalege river for lunch. After lunch visit Osonggobak village then 1,5 hours later you will arrive in helariki village for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 08: HELARIKI -ANGGURUK (B,L,D)
Going down to Obahek river about 2 hours with its difficult trek and steep river bank down and really dangerous one. Lunch we will served side of river, after lunch climb to Angguruk thru the Yali garden in another 2 hours. After arrived in angguruk you can explore Angguruk surrounding nearby or visit local hospital which built by Missionary. Dinner and overnight stay at Missionary guest house.
DAY 09: ANGGURUK – WAMENA (B,L,D)
After breakfast in the early morning, walk to landing airstrip to wait our charter flight back to Wamena in 30 minutes. On arrived in Wamena check in to Baliem Pilamo hotel for lunch, then drive to Jiwika to see old Mummy and also it is good chance to see Dani ceremony at Anemoigi village. Late afternoon drive back to hotel for dinner and stay..
DAY 10: WAMENA – JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
Having breakfast at restaurant, transfer to Wamena airport for leaving to Jayapura by Trigana flight. On arrival in Sentani airport then short transfer to Sentani indah hotel for check in. Afterward drive to Sentani lake side to take a boat excursion trip to visit Ayapo and Asei islands where you can see Sentani people make BARK PAINTING. Lunch will served at Yougwa restaurant, after lunch continue to Cenderawasih museum and Hamadi market. Late afternoon drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 11: JAYAPURA – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, transfer in time to Sentani airport for leaving to next destination.
