D01: JAYAPURA ARRIVAL (LD)
Arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura met by the guide and short transfer to hotel, lunch will have at hotel, after lunch make sightseeing tour to visit the local market and town, afternoon drive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
D02: JAYAPURA – WAMENA – FESTIVAL – WAMENA (BLD)
After breakfast,by car to the festival, whole day enjoy the activities in the festival, Lunch t the Festival late afternoon drive back to Wamena and dinner at hotel
D03: WAMENA – FESTIVAL – WAMENA (BLD)
Whole day enjoying the Festival.
D04: WAMENA – KILISE (BLD)
After breakfast, then drive 40 minutes to Sogokmo, the starting point of the trekking with your guide, cook and local porters. Trek will be 4 hours thru Kurima District and passing some Dani sweet potatoes gardens. Afternoon arrive at village and you may walk around, while your cook preparation for dinner. Overnight stay at local guest house of Kilise. We will set up tent inside the guest house.
D05: KILISE – SYOKOSIMO (BLD)
After breakfast, continue the trek down to Baliem river and crossing the suspension hanging bridge, lunch will have at Mugi river side after that continue the trekking to SYOKOSIMO village, the walk is a little harder than before the path is smaller and slippery down the hill with about 1.600 meters of elevation, you may enjoy the nature beauty and meet the native on the way. Arrive in Syokosimo then immediately prepare sleeping place local accommodation near a river. Dinner and stay overnight stay.
D06: SYOKOSIMO (PIG FEAST) – UGEM (BLD)
After breakfast, whole morning enjoy the pig feast and dance, after lunch continue the trekking to Ugem village, Dinner and stay overnight at Ugem.
D07: UGEM – SOGOKMO – WAMENA (BLD)
Having banana pancake for breakfast and then and follow the regular path down to Baliem river, we will again cross a suspension hanging bridge and then we follow the river bank to Kurima lunch will have on the way. From Kurima walk for about 40 more minutes to Yetni river where our cars waiting for us to drop us back to Wamena. Upon arrival check in to hotel. The rest of the day is free. Dinner will have at a local restaurant. (Walk approx. 5 hours)
D08: WAMENA – JAYAPURA (BLD)
After breakfast transferred to airport for the flight back to Jayapura. Upon arrival in Jayapura sightseeing tour late afternoon drive to hotel for dinner and overnight.
